This article covers how to set up and use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) if your company has enabled this feature in their account. To set up MFA as an admin, please go to Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (Account Admin).
Staff with elevated permissions in RosterElf will require to set up and use MFA if their company has enabled MFA in their account.
Setting up MFA
MFA uses email and SMS to increase the security required to log into your RosterElf account. For MFA to work, you need to verify your details.
When logging into RosterElf, you will be asked to confirm your mobile number and click Enable MFA.
MFA will now be enabled, and you will need to log in using MFA the next time you log in.
Logging in with MFA enabled
- To log into RosterElf with MFA enabled, you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number. Add the code from your mobile into the field and click Verify Code.
- If you don't receive the code, click Resend Code.
If you still haven't received the code, click Email The Code.
- If you didn't receive the code by SMS and have now gained access to your account via the Email Code. We strongly recommend you update your mobile number (Browser) or update your mobile number (Smartphone - Admin/Manager).
- If you still have not gained access to your account, please get in touch with a manager or admin in your business to help update your account details.
