By setting up an Anniversary widget on their dashboard, users can stay informed about:
- Staff Birthdays: Recognising birthdays helps foster a culture of appreciation and may be crucial for updating employee awards based on age.
- Work Anniversaries: This feature ensures that managers remember to celebrate each employee's annual work anniversary.
How to Setup
Step 1: Update Employee Records
First, ensure that employees' Date of Birth and Employment Start Date are accurately recorded in the Staff section of your RosterElf account.
Step 2: Activate the Anniversary Widget
To enable the Anniversary reminder:
Navigate to your Dashboard and click the “+ Widget” button located at the top right corner of the screen.
In the pop-up window, select the “Anniversary” widget, then click “OK” to confirm.
Step 3: Utilise the Anniversary Widget
With the widget added to your dashboard, you can now monitor upcoming staff birthdays and work anniversaries.
The widget categorises the dates into:
- This Month: Shows current month’s events.
- Archived: Lists events from the previous month and earlier.
This straightforward setup ensures that no important date goes unnoticed, contributing to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
