How to refresh Xero connection

If the connection between RosterElf and Xero pauses, you can quickly reconnect by following these steps:

Why This Is Important

Reconnecting RosterElf to Xero ensures your payroll data is accurately synced, avoiding delays and discrepancies.

Steps to Reconnect

1. Access Payroll Settings:

  • Go to the top menu in RosterElf.
  • Click on Settings.
  • Select Payroll.

2. Refresh Connection:

  • In the top centre of the Payroll page, click the refresh icon.

3. Connect to Xero:

  • A pop-up will appear.
  • Click Connect in the bottom right of the pop-up.

4. Handle Pop-up Blockers:

  • If your browser blocks the pop-up, you'll see an icon next to the URL.
  • Click on this icon to allow the pop-up.

5. Select Xero Organisation:

  • Follow the prompts in the pop-up window.
  • Select the Xero organisation to which you want to connect.

Finalise Connection

  • Complete the prompts, and your RosterElf account will be reconnected to Xero and ready for payroll processing.
  • Following these steps ensures a seamless integration between RosterElf and Xero, keeping your payroll operations running smoothly.
