Reconnect RosterElf to Xero


If the connection between RosterElf and Xero pauses, you can easily reconnect to ensure your payroll data is correctly synced, minimising the risk of delays or discrepancies. This guide provides clear steps to reconnect RosterElf to Xero, ensuring a smooth payroll integration.


1. Access Payroll Settings


The first step is to access your payroll settings in RosterElf. This section explains how to navigate to the payroll settings where you can refresh the Xero connection.

1.1 Go to Payroll Settings

1.1.1 Access the top menu in RosterElf.

1.1.2 Click on Settings.

1.1.3 Select Payroll.


2. Refresh the Connection


After accessing payroll settings, you can refresh the Xero connection. This will restart the connection process for RosterElf and Xero.

2.1 Click Refresh Icon

2.1.1 Locate the refresh icon at the top centre of the Payroll page.

2.1.2 Click the icon to refresh the Xero connection.


3. Connect to Xero


Now you can reconnect to Xero in the pop-up that appears, allowing RosterElf to link to your Xero account for payroll integration.

3.1 Click Connect in the Pop-up

3.1.1 When the pop-up appears, locate the Connect button in the bottom right.

3.1.2 Click Connect.


4. Manage Pop-up Blockers


If your browser blocks the Xero connection pop-up, follow these steps to allow the pop-up and proceed with the reconnection.

4.1 Allow the Pop-up

4.1.1 Check for a pop-up blocker icon near the URL in your browser.

4.1.2 Click on this icon.

4.1.3 Allow the pop-up to reconnect with Xero.


5. Select Xero Organisation


After allowing the pop-up, follow the prompts to select the correct Xero organisation. This will finalise the connection.

5.1 Choose Xero Organisation

5.1.1 Follow the instructions in the pop-up window.

5.1.2 Select the Xero organisation you want to connect with RosterElf.


6. Finalise Connection
