How to Edit a Published Shift in the Past in RosterElf

RosterElf allows Admin accounts to edit or delete published past shifts in the roster. However, please note the following important points:

Past shifts with clock-in-out data cannot be deleted to maintain data accuracy.
Editing published past shifts does not allow changes to rostered staff. However, you can add a shift in the past.

Steps to Edit a Published Shift in the Past

1. Access Roster View:

Go to the roster view from the top menu.

2. Select the Shift:

Hover over the published shift you want to edit.
Click on View Shifts.

3. Edit Shift Details:

In the pop-up menu, change the relevant details as needed.
Click Save for the changes to take effect.

Deleting a Shift

If the published shift does not have clock-in-out data, you can delete it by clicking Delete at the bottom left of the pop-up menu.
If there is clock-in-out data, the shift cannot be deleted.

Additional Notes

Employees will not be notified of any edits or additions to past shifts.
