Adding unscheduled shifts on your tablet time clock app is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure your shift is added correctly.

Steps to Add an Unscheduled Shift

1. Open the Time Clock App

  • Launch the time clock app on your tablet.
  • Tap the + symbol at the top right corner of the screen to add a new shift.

2. Select "Find Name"

  • A pop-up screen will appear. Select Find Name to proceed. 
  • Then, tap NEXT.

3. Choose the Applicable Position

  • From the list provided, select the appropriate position for the shift.
  • Then, tap NEXT.

4. Select the Employee

  • Use the drop-down menu to choose the employee who will be working the shift.
  • Click NEXT to continue.

5. Enter the Shift Start and End Time

  • Input the desired start time and end time for the shift.
  • Once you've done this, click NEXT.

6. Add Any Notes (Optional) and Submit the Shift

  • If you have any notes or additional information about the shift, enter them in the designated field.
  • Tap Submit to finalise the unscheduled shift entry.

7. Confirmation

  • If the shift is added successfully, you will receive a confirmation notification.
