Accessing reports in RosterElf


This article explains how to access and use the new reports in RosterElf. You’ll learn how to view, customise, and export reports that help you track attendance, costs, leave, and more. Whether you're a manager, payroll officer, or business owner, these reports give you better visibility into workforce activity.

You'll also find a breakdown of each report type and what data it includes. This ensures you can confidently select the right report for your business needs and export it in your preferred format. 


1. How to access new reports


This section shows how to open and customise the new reports in RosterElf. You'll learn how to set filters, export files, and save reports as favourites. This helps you work more efficiently and find the data you need quickly.

1.1 Open the reports section

1.1.1 Log in to your RosterElf account.

1.1.2 Click the Reports tab on the left-hand menu.

1.1.3 Press View Full Report on a report to launch the report.

1.2 Customise and export your report

1.2.1 Use the filters to set your date range, sites, staff and positions if desired.

1.2.2 Press Export to download your report in CSV or PDF format.

2.1 Complete Shift Report

Key Details:
Shows employee names, sites, and scheduled shift durations.
Includes clock-in and clock-out times and any variances.
Displays approved timesheet hours for the selected period.

2.2 Staff Details Report

Key Details:

Lists employee name, contact details, and profile photo.

Shows employment type, staff ID, and current status.

Includes date of birth for reference.

2.3 Approved Leave Report

Key Details:

Displays names of staff with approved leave.

Shows number of approved leave days per staff member.

2.4 Shift Notes Report

Key Details:

Lists staff names and their shift dates.

Shows notes entered for each shift.

2.5 Timesheet Cost Report

Key Details:

Shows approved hours and labour cost for each employee.

Includes sites, roles, and shift dates.

Helps with payroll reconciliation and wage tracking.
