1. Starting a Break
To ensure accurate time tracking, it’s important to follow the correct process when starting your break. The steps below guide you through recording a break on RosterElf's Time Clock.
1.1 Select Your Shift
1.1.1 Locate your name and shift on the Time Clock screen.
1.1.2 Tap your name to access the available options.
1.2 Initiate the Break
1.2.1 Select Start Break from the list of options.
1.3 Authenticate Your Identity
1.3.1 Enter your RosterElf password when prompted.
1.3.2 If facial recognition is enabled, take a selfie using the tablet.
1.4 Confirm Break Start
1.4.1 A confirmation message will appear once the break is logged.
1.4.2 The screen will display an orange Break banner beside your name to indicate you're on a break.
2. Ending a Break
When returning from your break, follow these steps to clock back in. This ensures your work hours are accurately recorded.
2.1 Select Your Shift
2.1.1 Find your name on the Time Clock screen.
2.1.2 Tap your name to view the available options.
2.2 End the Break
2.2.1 Choose the option to End Break.
2.3 Authenticate Your Identity
2.3.1 Enter your RosterElf password to proceed.
2.3.2 If required, complete facial verification by taking a selfie.
2.4 Confirm Break End
2.4.1 A confirmation message will appear, confirming you’re clocked back in.
2.4.2 The Break banner will no longer be visible next to your name.
