Smartphone push notifications

This article is designed for: User Type: All Users - Employees, Admins and Managers Device: Smartphone

RosterElf's smartphone app help remind staff of their shifts and to clock in and out. The app also helps notify staff of shift swaps, the results of any leave requests submitted, and various other functions.

The app does this using push notification technology, like when you receive a new text message or any other app notification on your smartphone.

Summary

Testing whether the notifications are working can be tricky as you will need to wait for a new event to occur that triggers a notification to be sent. However, if you've done the above and still have not received a notification when your managers have confirmed they have sent you something, please reach out to our support team.
